Key Activation Support Page

To active a Desura Game Key:
Before you can activate your key, you must have a Desura account. If you already have one, skip this part.

1. Grab a FREE Desura account (if you don’t have one): http://www.desura.com/ and create a new account.
2. Add the FREE Desura application to your computer. Follow the directions after you sign up.

Activate from Desura.com

If you have a Desura account and the Desura application, there are two ways to activate a new game:
A) Activate VIA Desura.com:

1. Navigate to the bottom of http://www.desura.com/  and click on “Activate Key”
2. Enter or paste your key into the text-box on the page. Click “Activate Gift”.
3. A notification will appear if your game is successfully added to your game library.
4. Launch the Desura application. Your new game will be ready and waiting for you to download and play.

B) Activate VIA the Desura Application:

1. Launch the Desura Application.
2. Log in with your user Id and password (the same that you use for the Desura website).
3. Click on the blue Desura logo that is in the top left-hand corner.
4. Scroll to Tools > Activate Game CD Key or Gift
5. Enter or paste the Game Key into the first text-field “CDKey/Gift”

Activate within the Desura Application

To active a Steam Game Key:
Before you can activate your key, you must have a Steam account. If you already have one, skip this part.

1. Grab a FREE Steam account (if you don’t have one): http://store.steampowered.com/ and create a new account.
2. Add the FREE Steam application to your computer. Follow the directions after you sign up.

If you have a Steam account and the Steam application, then please follow these instructions to activate a new game:

1. Launch Steam software and log into your Steam account.
2. Click the Games Menu at the top of the window.
3. Choose Activate a Product on Steam.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
