What is IndieBundle.org?
We are a place where indie developers join together to sell their games as a bundle at a fair price. Interested developers should visit the developers page.
What makes IndieBundle.org different?
We take a unique approach to indie bundles. We focus on three things for BOTH developers and players: value, consistency and convenience. We offer a variety of bundles, organized and distilled so that each game in a bundle is unique in style while similar in genre. This allows us to give many developers the chance to include their games and it gives you a larger variety of games to choose from.
Do I need to Register?
No registration is needed to get your games on IndieBundle! We send your games directly to the email address that you tell us to.
Why should I subscribe to IndieBundle.org?
When you “subscribe” (by opting in and entering your email address in the side-bar), you join thousands of other loyal followers who receive a newsletter prior to any new bundle going live. Newsletters feature exclusive Subscriber Specials, including Early Access to all bundles… and one randomly selected lucky subscriber who purchases a bundle during the Early Access period will have his/her purchase price refunded! Please note that we will not share your private information and will only send an email about every two weeks.
Where are the STEAM games?
STEAM games are here! Our first STEAM game became available in The Mothership Bundle, introduced mid-January 2013. Our first STEAM bundle is slated for introduction early 2013. Stay tuned!
If a game is on Steam Greenlight, will we get Steam keys if it is “GreenLit”?”
The Steam GreenLight Guarantee is an additional way that developers entice you to support them as they make their case to be on Steam. Owners of Steam games currently have the ability to distribute Steam Keys. Our GreenLight Guarantee comes straight from the developers themselves, and should Steam change their policy or prevent such actions the guarantee will remain for those who had purchased the game.
How do I get my games?
Each bundle is available on either (not both) the Desura or Steam platform. Immediately after payment you will be given Game Keys that you may use to download and play the games in the bundle. These keys will also be sent to the email you provided. If you should ever lose this email or lose your Game Keys, you can use our simple Key Recovery form to retrieve them. Some titles also have DRM-FREE downloads of the games. Links to these downlaods are also sent to your email in a convenient and organized bundle email that contains all of your download links and keys. This is available to you at any time.
What if I want more than one bundle?
There is no limit to the number of bundles you can buy! Each purchase supports a developer and rewards you with awesome games.
How long will a bundle be available?
Each bundle will now be available for only six weeks, with a new bundle introduced every two weeks. This way, there’s always a constantly evolving menu of live bundles, giving you an excellent chance to support a wide range of awesome developers…
What is that random Zero on the front page?
At the start of IndieBundle.org, back in 2012, the design of the site went through various iterations until we found what worked. This lonely zero was ignored for quite a while by the team, and it was content for some time, blithely unaware that the intention was to eventually remove it for the final build of the site. During a team meeting on Skype, just before that final redesign, one member started to say that it was time to remove the zero. The Org sensed its danger, and immediately exerted its powers to enhance superstitious tendencies in another member’s mind so that he quickly spoke up and said, “That thing must be good luck!” thereby attributing the fast
initial growth and success of the site to the power of The Org. Immediately the whole team broke out into “The Org” calls to keep the zero on the page, lest it be the entire reason for the success of IndieBundle.org … thus “The Org” (short for 10 different things) was born and remains there…biding its time…biding its time.
