Mechanic Infantry, Helena The 3rd, Flack

In a world governed by machines, your infantry survives with the energy provided by generators that have unexpectedly broken down. Your friends have disappeared and the lack of resources will drive you to fight against the extinction… Now, brave the danger and repair the energy sources in order to save your fellows!

Pilot a jumping tank through a maze of underground caverns and dungeons in search of new abilities you’ll need to progress deeper into the levels. Each upgrade is hidden out of reach of your tank, and can only be obtained after exploring on foot. (This game is inspired by a certain NES game which I love)

5 bucks for this? why buy it here when you can buy it for the same price on desura if not cheaper since helena the third flips around from $.99 to $1.99…. :-/
Wouldn’t that make it $6-$7 while this is $5? Granted, it’s not the $9 savings they say it is, but it’s still a better deal (although not for me, as I already have Helena the 3rd)
Interesting, but not nearly enough savings for games I will almost certainly never play.
That honestly made me laugh out loud. I’m the designer of Flack and I can kinda’ see what you mean. I’m not trying to convert your wallet or anything, but you should give the demo a try. It has most of the features included, and it does NOT required additional installations other than having Java already in use. Here’s the link: http://www.desura.com/games/flack/download/2739
Hi doppler, it’s because of what people are use to with buying bundles, like $5 for 8 games etc.
Zooby is on target. The value of a game has fallen below a buck. Well, this is okay for games like World of Goo that have reached wild popularity and find their way into multiple humble bundles, but it makes it difficult for most other games! Considering what $5 buys these days (1 coffee, 1 gallon of gas), to me it’s well worth it for these games.
